Las Vegas Hotel

One of the most famous cities in the USA, Las Vegas presents its tourists with casinos, shopping, entertainment and gambling. Luring millions of tourists year after year, Las Vegas also accommodates its tourists according to their budgets, whether high or low.

Getting yourself a cheap hotel in Las Vegas can be done easily if you know how to keep your hands away from the gambling table. Quite a few of the most well known hotels of Las Vegas exist on the Las Vegas Boulevard, known as “The Strip”. The list includes the MGM Grand, The Mandalay Hotel, The Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino, The Trump Hotel Las Vegas and many more. These hotels sure know how to advertise themselves so they offer a variety of packages, from those suitable for bachelor parties to those perfect for a family.

To help attract more and more visitors, hotels also offer different packages for their customers. If you are planning a bachelor night, you can easily find a package that will include gambling, accommodation, meals and sometimes even a show. For families, the packages include meals, accommodations and child-friendly shows. This is one reason why Las Vegas is quickly becoming a major tourist destination.

The Fremont Street is located in the downtown of Vegas and is one of the oldest and most popular streets in this city. Featured in many movies, this street is the location for the first ever casino in Las Vegas. A number of famous Las Vegas Hotels are located on this street such as the Golden Gate Hotel and The Fremont Hotel. One of the many entertainments it offers are night light shows which is one of the must see sights in the city. It is the detail of these shows along with other factors that helps Las Vegas get such amazing reviews from its visitors.

Even though this city screams of class and price, cheap hotels can be located here as well. Discounts are available on many hotels in Las Vegas and you can even get yourself cheaper prices if you book ahead of time. Three or four star hotels are usually giving discounts with the rate ranging from $30 to $100 per night. Such hotels include the Imperial Palace Hotel and the Excalibur Hotel Casino. Other Hotels include the Stratosphere Tower, and The Casino Resort Hotel.

For those who cannot afford the typical Vegas Hotel price, the rates of cheaper hotels begins with 40$. These include hotels like the Sahara Hotel & Casino, Orleans, Cancun Resort, La Quinta Desert Paradise Resort, Hawthorn Suites, Boulder Station Hotel & Casino, Hampton Inn, Riviera, and the Las Vegas Convention Center. However, this is only a list of a few names of hotels that offer such low rates. The city is full of similar hotels that offer low rates for tourists.

If you are lucky enough, you may even find yourself a suite or something as luxurious as a deluxe room on discount. Because of the tourist rush throughout the year, hotels have a number of rooms ranging from the standard size to deluxe and luxury rooms. You can even stay in the deluxe room without having to spend a lot of money just on the accommodation. These discount packages include gambling, viewing shows, visit the spa, and enjoying the magnificent malls at a very cheap rate. So, keep yourself updated regarding the discount packages available so you can get the most out of any hotels here.

As Las Vegas is one of the busiest and most popular tourist attractions throughout the year, the competition between the hotels also gets tough as they strive to get most of the guests through their doors. It is in the spirit of this competition, that even five star hotels drop their charges and start offering packages such as four-night packages. For even cheaper hotels, the outskirts of the city offer very cheap prices, although you will have to spend more on transport.

It is completely possible to find a hotel that suits your budget as this city has thousands of hotels with a variety in prices. Popular for gambling, everyone comes with high hopes of hitting the jackpot and being able to afford one of the classier hotels, but there is no need to empty your wallets for a night in Las Vegas. Make sure you do your research and find the best deals, and even you can enjoy a five-star hotel room at not too high a price.

Guide To Booking Hotel Service

A hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging, usually on a short-term basis. Hotels often provide a number of additional guest services such as a restaurant, a swimming pool or childcare. Some hotels have conference services and meeting rooms and encourage groups to hold conventions and meetings at their location. Hotels differ from motels in that most motels have drive-up, exterior entrances to the rooms, while hotels tend to have interior entrances to the rooms, which may increase guests’ safety and present a more upmarket image. Basic accommodation of a room with only a bed, a cupboard, a small table and a washstand has largely been replaced by rooms with en-suite bathrooms and climate control. Other features found may be a telephone, an alarm clock, a TV, and broadband Internet connectivity. Food and drink may be supplied by a mini-bar (which often includes a small refrigerator) containing snacks and drinks (to be paid for on departure), and tea and coffee making facilities (cups, spoons, an electric kettle and sachets containing instant coffee, tea bags, sugar, and creamer or milk).

In the United Kingdom a hotel is required by law to serve food and drinks to all comers within certain stated hours; to avoid this requirement it is not uncommon to come across “private hotels” which are not subject to this requirement. However, in Japan the capsule hotel supplies minimal facilities and room space. The cost and quality of hotels are usually indicative of the range and type of services available. Due to the enormous increase in tourism worldwide during the last decades of the 20th century, standards, especially those of smaller establishments, have improved considerably. For the sake of greater comparability, rating systems have been introduced, with the one to five stars classification being most common.

“Boutique Hotel” is a term originating in North America to describe intimate, usually luxurious or quirky hotel environments. Boutique hotels differentiate themselves from larger chain or branded hotels by providing an exceptional and personalized level of accommodation, services and facilities. Boutique hotels are furnished in a themed, stylish and/or aspirational manner. Although usually considerably smaller than a mainstream hotel (ranging from 3 to 100 guest rooms) boutique hotels are generally fitted with telephone and wi-fi Internet connections, honesty bars and often cable/pay TV. Guest services are attended to by 24 hour hotel staff. Many boutique hotels have on site dining facilities, and the majority offer bars and lounges which may also be open to the general public. Of the total travel market a small percentage are discerning travelers, who place a high importance on privacy, luxury and service delivery.

As this market is typically corporate travelers, the market segment is non-seasonal, high-yielding and repeat, and therefore one which boutique hotel operators target as their primary source of income. A number of hotels have entered the public consciousness through popular culture, such as the Ritz Hotel in London, UK (‘Putting on The Ritz’) and Hotel Chelsea in New York City, subject of a number of songs and also the scene of the alleged stabbing of Nancy Spungen by her boyfriend Sid Vicious. Hotels that enter folklore like these two are also often frequented by celebrities, as is the case both with the Ritz and the Chelsea. Other famous hotels include the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Hotel Bel-Air and the Chateau Marmont, in California, USA, Watergate complex in Washington DC ,the Hotel Astoria in Saint Petersburg, Russia, the Hotel George V and Hôtel Ritz in Paris, Palazzo Versace hotel on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, Hotel Hermitage and Hotel de Paris in Monaco (in the French Riviera) and Hotel Leningradskaya in Moscow. Many hotels can be considered destinations in themselves, by dent of unusual features of the lodging and/or its immediate environment.

Treehouse hotels Some hotels, such as the Costa Rica Tree House in the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge, Costa Rica, or Treetops Hotel in Aberdare National Park, Kenya, are built with living trees as structural elements, making them treehouses. The Ariau Towers near Manaus, Brazil is in the middle of the Amazon, on the Rio Negro. Bill Gates even invested and had a suite built there with satellite internet/phone. Another hotel with treehouse units is Bayram’s Tree Houses in Olympos, Turkey Cave hotels Desert Cave Hotel in Coober Pedy, South Australia and the Cuevas Pedro Antonio de Alarcón (named after the author) in Guadix, Spain, as well as several hotels in Cappadocia, Turkey, are notable for being built into natural cave formations, some with rooms underground.

Capsule hotels Capsule hotels are a type of economical hotels that are quite common in Japan. Ice hotels, such as the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden, melt every spring and are rebuilt out of ice and snow each winter. Snow hotels The Mammut Snow Hotel in Finland is located within the walls of the Kemi snow castle, which is the biggest in the world. It includes The Mammut Snow Hotel, The Castle Courtyard, The Snow Restaurant and a chapel for weddings, etc. Its furnishings and its decorations, such as sculptures, are made of snow and ice. There is snow accommodation also in Lainio Snow Hotel in Lapland (near Ylläs), Finland. Garden hotels Garden hotels, famous for their gardens before they became hotels, includes Gravetye Manor, the home of William Robinson and Cliveden, designed by Charles Barry with a rose garden by Geoffrey Jellicoe.

Underwater hotels As of 2005, the only hotel with an underwater room that can be reached without Scuba diving is Utter Inn in Lake Mälaren, Sweden. It only has one room, however, and Jules’ Undersea Lodge in Key Largo, Florida, which requires scuba diving, is not much bigger. Hydropolis is an ambitious project to build a luxury hotel in Dubai, UAE, with 220 suites, all on the bottom of the Persian Gulf, 20 meters (66 feet) below the surface. Its architecture will feature two domes that break the surface and an underwater train tunnel, all made of transparent materials such as glass and acrylic. Other unusual hotels The Library Hotel in New York City is unique in that its ten floors are arranged according to the Dewey Decimal System. The Rogers Centre, formerly SkyDome, in Toronto, Canada is the only stadium to have a hotel connected to it, with 70 rooms overlooking the field. The Burj al-Arab hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, built on an artificial island, is structured in the shape of a sail of a boat.

Tips To Get Cheap Booking Reservation

Astronomical hotel costs are often a headache for many budget travelers who may want to reduce hotel spending so that they can concentrate their expenditure on other more important aspects of their trip. So is there a guaranteed way to enjoy hotel savings? Yes there certainly is. Cheap hotel reservation is now a possibility with the advent of the Internet, which will help you snag your ideal hotel for a much lower rate than if you had booked over the phone.

Information about hotels in your chosen destination is widely available online, meaning that we now hold the power to book hotels at low rates that might not have previously existed. This can be attributed to the ubiquity of cheap hotel discounts on the Internet that allow us to save on our hotel bookings like never before. Thus, budgeting for our entire trip is now much less of a headache, especially since less spending on our hotels is virtually guaranteed though online booking.

Making an Internet hotel booking has never been more attractive, with a mind-boggling range of accommodation in your chosen locale or district available for booking, including hotels which you may not be able to afford previously. Hotel aggregator websites are thus a hotbed of information regarding these various hotels’ specific locations, amenities, services and most of all, the kinds of discounted deals you can get to enjoy.

Before comparing the rates between hotels, you might want to first take a look at the section of the website marked “deals”, where you can find the latest limited time promotions, deals and offers for various hotels, including any last minute promotions. These promotions are especially common when hotels are unable to fill up their rooms during a less busy travel season.

By taking advantage of such heavily discounted rates, you might even manage to book a luxury hotel at a rate that is closer to that of mid-ranged hotels. Hence, the best value for your hotels can be easily achieved by booking online, as you will often be able to snag hotels with excellent offerings at relatively low rates.

When you book your accommodation online, peace of mind is a given as you would have settled your hotel arrangements and costs in advance, especially if you are assured instant confirmation of your booking. By taking care of this part of your travel planning, you can now turn your attention to budgeting for the remaining expenses for your trip.

However, do make sure that you are really getting your money’s worth in your hotel booking by taking into account possible hidden costs such as parking fees, Internet costs and even additional room taxes which may result in higher than expected hotel expenditure. You should keep these costs at the back of your mind when deciding if an online hotel deal is really worth it.

Placing a cheap hotel reservation is now a reality, thanks to the efficiency of the Internet which allows travelers to save time and money when making hotel bookings online. They can also rest assured that their credit card information is safe, as hotel booking websites make use of secure transaction gateways which is safer than revealing such information over the phone. Moreover, travelers are better informed when making their hotel booking decisions and choosing the best hotel deals to go for.

Hotel Recommendation On Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is located in an isolated region of the Vilcabamba Jungle 4 hours from Cusco – the nearest major city. Although the citadel can be visited in one day, many people choose to extend the trip by spending a night close to the ruins at either a hotel in Aguas Calientes or at the only hotel adjacent to the ruins – the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel.

The citadel of Machu Picchu is perched on the mountain edge, and there is limited space for hotels at the site. All hotels (except the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel) are located on the valley floor in the small town of Aguas Calientes. The rather unique village of Aguas calientes has no roads, and access to the town is made either by train or on foot. Although Machu Picchu is a world class destination, the village of Aguas Calientes is still typically Peruvian and somewhat lacking in services, quality restaurants and general appeal. Land is at a premium in the village and quality hotel developments have been slow in coming forward, creating highly inflated prices for mediocre service.

However, in 2012 we are glad to report that the choice of hotels (although still limited) has greatly improved and there are now a handful of hotels that will really enhance your tour to Peru.

The following hotels are our top recommendations:

The Sanctuary Lodge Hotel (Luxury Hotel) – The only hotel located at the citadel of Machu Picchu is the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel. A night at the luxury hotel will set you back about $1000, but this includes breakfast, lunch and dinner plus a free bar. With access to Machu Picchu in less than 3 minutes, the hotel is perfect for early risers, keen photographers and people who want to have the flexibility to come and go as they like.

The Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel (Luxury Hotel) – This large luxury hotel located in the village of Aguas Calientes is set in 11 acres of jungle and cloud forest, and offers guests a selection of high quality accommodations. There are several rooms types available: from the standard entry level room, through to the Inkaterra Owners Suite which has several bedrooms, a lounge and dining areas with a personal concierge. Guests also have the opportunity to hike the many nature trails within the grounds, take a visit to the tea and coffee plantations and also indulge in the superb onsite spa. This hotel is a must for all Machu Picchu luxury tours.

The Sumaq Hotel (First Class) – The Sumaq hotel is a relative new-comer to Aguas Calientes, and is one of the top three hotels in the village. Located on the road to Machu Picchu, the hotel is conveniently located for access to Machu Picchu, and offers guests a comfortable and first rate stay near Machu Picchu. The hotel really excels in the cuisine department, offering guests incredible fresh fusion cuisine created by some of Peru’s finest chefs.

The Hatuchay Tower Hotel (Tourist Superior) – Probably the most popular hotel in Aguas Calientes by most travel agents, the Hatuchay Tower Hotel offers guests a good level of service with spacious modern accommodations at the right price. This large hotel is also located on the road to Machu Picchu, and shuttle busses to the citadel stop en-route to collect guests. A buffer dinner is included within the price of the room, so guests are sure to enjoy a good meal without having to leave the hotel.

El Mapi Hotel (Tourist Superior) – Owned by the Inkaterra Group of Hotels the El Mapi hotel is one of Aguas Calientes newest hotels (previously the Machu Picchu Inn Hotel). After extensive renovation the hotel El Mapi gave Aguas Calientes a much needed high quality tourist superior class hotel – that offers clean modern, accommodations combined with great service. For our set tours to Peru the El Mapi Hotel is our first choice for clients who are looking for a good level of accommodations, but mindful of their budget.

Andina Luxury (Entry Level) – This small hotel is probably one of the best entry level hotels in Aguas Calientes, and although at the budget end of the scale, a night at the hotel will still set you back more than US$ 100. The hotel is not particularly well located, but offers guests clean and modern accommodation, perfect for a good night’s sleep.

To summarise the choice of Machu Picchu Hotels, we would probably say that hotels are expensive for what you get, however you are visiting one of the World’s top attractions. You will probably want to dig a little deeper and pay a little extra to be guaranteed good accommodations near Machu Picchu. Make sure you book your Peru Vacation early, as hotel capacity is limited around Machu Picchu.

Budget and Cheap Paris Hotels

The budget Paris hotels are also known as the cheap Paris hotels. These hotels are plainly decorated and are ideal for travelers who travel on a strict budget. Rooms in these hotels are equipped with basic amenities. Many of the cheap hotels of Paris are located in the Montmartre area of Paris, the artists’ quarter and the various flea markets of Paris. The Montmartre area and the Latin quarters near the world famous University of Paris, Sorbonne, are inhabited by intellectuals and students who prefer living on a tight budget. So, the cheapest hotels of Paris which are situated in these areas offer several advantages to their inmates. The Ile de la Cite of Paris epitomizes the quaint culture and charms of Paris. Several cheap Parisian hotels have cropped up here too. The Ile de la Cite houses the famous Notre Dame and other well-known landmarks. Many famous museums of Paris, other than the Louvre, are located in the vicinity of the Ile de la Cite. These are the Musee d’Orsay and the Musee De La Conciergerie. The guests of the cheap hotels hence have a wonderful time visiting the repositories and their breathtaking works and sightseeing in these picturesque parts of Paris.

There is a distinct advantage of living in the budget hotels of the city because these Paris hotels encapsulate the tasteful and lively culture of Paris. As they are located in the crowded areas of Paris near the museums and universities, the hubs of intellectual learning and culture, they offer endless opportunities to their guests to explore the nooks and crannies of Paris, to get the feel and pulse of the city, it’s rich and variegated history, its myriad etiquette, cuisines, artworks, the romantic spirit of the sculptures that adorn the city, every now and then. The cheap Paris hotels ask for anything between € 30 and € 150 for a single night’s stay.

Paris is a truly enchanting city. Its romantic aura encompasses you the moment you step into the city. Every boulevard, every sidewalk, thoroughfare, every street corner of Paris is a treat for the eye of the discerning tourist. Whether you’re parading the Grande Gallery of the Louvre or admiring the fabulous interiors of the Palace of Versailles, whether you’re getting your picture painted in the Montmartre or just gazing at the Egyptian obelisk in the Place de la Concorde, you’ll always be surrounded by the rich heritage of Paris, a heritage that’s inextricably interwoven with the city, its people and its monuments. And all the Paris hotels, however modern or sophisticated, try to be the archetype of the city’s wonderful past. So it’s no wonder that tourists feel the turmoil and turbulence of the Bastille, hear the screams and shrieks of guillotine victims, and perceive the sounds of Louis’s hundred horsemen clip-clopping on the roads of Paris while they roam in Paris or when they reside at the Paris hotels.

The Reason Asian Hotel Is Better

There is great debate between travellers about the standards of hotels around the world. The debate is centred round whether European hotels offer the same value and level of accommodation as North America and Asia.

Now different people have different tastes when it comes to staying in a hotel or any type of accommodation away from home. Some people want everything to be like it is at home. Others value the cultural differences and expect accommodation to be different in other countries. And it also depends on what type of holiday experience you have in mind. The type of accommodation in a ski resort will be different to a beach front hotel in Waikiki. If you are on a European coach tour visiting several cities over a week you will encounter many hotels that are “pit stops” for the night. These hotels have been selected to fit in with the tour schedule and price. And there is nothing wrong with that as you are only “checked in” for the night and leave early the next morning.

However, if you are staying in a hotel for several days or longer you want to make sure you have selected a hotel that meets your requirements of location, accessibility, spaciousness, standard, quality and price. Every city around the world has good hotels and poor quality hotels so it is dangerous to generalise about the quality of accommodation across a continent.

Generally, people who have travelled the world agree that the standard of European hotels is not comparable to North America and Asia. Let’s compare.

American Hotels

Generally American hotels are larger hotels and part of a hotel chain whereas many European hotels are smaller family run hotels. Of course there are the large hotel chains in Europe, more hotels are becoming part of chains and new hotels are built.

American hotels have larger room sizes than comparable European hotels for the same or less money. There are often additional facilities like two queen beds, large bathrooms, kitchenettes and air conditioning. Price is one of the biggest differences between hotels on each side of the Atlantic. Some American cities, such as Las Vegas, have incredibly high standard hotels at very cheap rates. Now these hotels do make most of their money from the casino you have to navigate through before you get to your room. And that’s the trick, getting to your room with your wallet remaining in good health.

Another point that many world travellers say is that the restaurant meals in American hotels are larger and better value than in Europe. The quality of the food may vary but I would tend to agree with that too.

Asian Hotels

The main advantage with Asian hotels is that they are considerably less expensive than both American and European hotels for a comparable property. Even backpackers can afford to stay in good hotels in Asia whereas in Europe they are confined to sharing a dorm room with many other travellers.

Asian hotels tend to give much better value than their European equivalent. The average hotel size in Asia is relatively larger with many rooms. The room sizes are larger, bathrooms larger and newer. The facilities like pools and restaurants are usually better. World travellers have indicated they love to holiday in Asia because they can afford to stay in a hotel on the beach or one block from the beach. Dining out every night is inexpensive and makes a vacation more fun.

European Hotels

Unless you book a relatively expensive hotel, 4 or 5 star the standards are less than North America and Asia.

Many hotels in Europe are smaller, family run hotels. Many people find this type of accommodation has more charm and offers local hospitality over a large and sometimes impersonal hotel.

There have been many complaints about European hotels. Some people often complain about the small bathrooms with poor ventilation. Others complain about the poor linen, like in Italy where they give you those very thin towels that are like a small sheet. Others complain about the lack of views from the windows.

What Europe does have is the history and old world charm. Considering that when you are on holiday in Europe you won’t be spending much time in your hotel room – does it matter?

Well, yes it does matter. You have paid for a hotel room and you don’t want to have your European vacation spoilt by poor quality hotels where you don’t feel comfortable.

In many European cities, visitors are recommended to stay in a hotel outside the city centre and commute to the tourist attractions. These hotels tend to be newer, larger and comparable to hotels in the USA and Asia. This is not a problem in most European cities as their public transport infrastructure is very good with wide coverage and easy access to most parts of the city.

For those who are travelling to Australia, the hotel standards are similar to North America.

Several New York hotels have cropped up in the vicinity of the various tourist attractions of New York so that hotel guests can go for sightseeing easily, without boarding buses or hiring long-distance automobiles for traveling.

Conference Facilities in the Luxury and Boutique New York Hotels

Some of the finest and costliest hotels of New York are The Waldorf Astoria, The Four Seasons Hotel, The Carlyle, The Peninsula, New York Palace, The Alex, Trump International, etc. The Carlyle is a grand old New York hotel that encapsulates an old-world charm and aura. It comprises an imposing edifice on Madison Avenue and is rated as one of the best boutique New York hotels. The hotel boasts of 4,033 square feet of meeting and conference space. One of the most fabulous hotels of New York, the Carlyle sports a frontage bedecked in the Art Deco style. The ceiling of the hotel is beautifully carved. If The Carlyle is imposing, then The Waldorf Astoria is magnificent. The Waldorf Astoria is one of the New York hotels that transports you back to a period when gentlemen in tailcoats escorted ladies in long gowns from horse-drawn barouche-landaus to Victorian-styled drawing rooms, when people still observed British mannerisms and customs in the New World. The hotel is adorned by antique furniture and decorations that hark back to 1893, the year when the hotel was built. The Waldorf Astoria is a great venue for meetings and events. The hotel has 60,000 square feet of conference space. The Waldorf Astoria is one of the few hotels of New York that boasts of a rich experience and consequently a rich expertise, in hosting state dinners and corporate meetings. It’s also one of the few hotels of the city that has invested millions of dollars in enhancing its meeting facilities and technological capabilities. The Waldorf Astoria is one of the rare hotels of New York that offers its corporate guests direct-link satellite broadcasting facilities and ultra-high-velocity Internet connectivity to support hi-tech videoconferencing and web conferencing.

Where meetings and events are concerned, the Waldorf Astoria is regarded as one of the special hotels of New York. This is because the hotel assigns the conference management task to an Event Manager who performs the task of conference management on behalf of the clients or guests. The Event Manager and their team look into every aspect of conference management so that clients face no problem in hosting and conducting conferences. The fourth and the eighteenth stories of the hotel are dedicated for conferences and events. Each of the luxury and boutique New York hotels is an excellent venue for meetings and events. The luxury and boutique hotels of New York charge anything between $219 and $ 3,600 per day, per guest. Many say that the luxury and boutique New York hotels are too opulent and showy. The New York hotels, according to many, show more power than anything else. This is not surprising because New York is situated in the United States of America, the most powerful nation of the world.

Airport New York Hotels and Their Business Centers

Now let’s turn to examine some other types of New York hotels. New York is served by three airports: the JFK International Airport, LaGuardia Airport and the Newark Liberty International Airport. Affordable, isn’t it? But on the downside, most airport hotels in New York can’t afford you conference facilities at the rates they charge you. Most of these hotels, however, possess Business Centers, which are equipped with photocopying and facsimile facilities, wireless Internet connectivity, and computers with Internet connections. Some of the airport New York hotels such as the Fairfield Inn by Marriott, have banqueting facilities. The airport hotels of New York are plainly furnished and sparsely decorated.

Family and Pet-Friendly New York Hotels

Family hotels and pet-friendly hotels are other types of hotels in New York but these hotels are occupied mostly by families on holidays and not by people who’d like to host meetings. Hence, conference facilities are not present in such hotels. However, as there are exceptions to all rules, some of these hotels are equipped with business and meeting facilities.

Cheap New York Hotels

And finally, we come to that section of hotels known as the cheap New York hotels. Most of the cheap hotels of New York are not hotels but hostels, inns and boarding houses. As has been mentioned before, even the cheap hotels of New York can be dear. However, they’re much cheaper compared to the other hotels of New York. They also lack proper amenities. Which is why they’re designated as cheap New York hotels. Most of the rooms in cheap New York hotels don’t possess attached bathrooms and guests have to use the common bathroom of the corridor. The cheap hotels in New York are boarded mostly by youngsters, students and backpackers, who not only don’t mind the discomforts of life but also take them with an adventurous spirit.

The rooms of these hotels aren’t equipped with telephones and these hotels don’t accept payment by credit card. The rooms of many of these New York hotels are equipped with bunk beds and almost resemble dormitories. Bathrooms in these hotels may also be dirty. And don’t even think of hosting a conference in these New York hotels unless you’re willing to call ‘a room full of young students jumping about’, a ‘conference’. But the cheap New York hotels are generally located at spots close to the New York subways, tourist hotspots, and shops. So, you can get a good feel of the city if you reside in these hotels, provided you don’t mind the accompanying hardships.

Choosing New York Hotels

You can choose hotels in New York according to your budget, conference preferences, the conference facilities that the hotels offer, location of the hotels, and other parameters. If you choose wisely, you’ll stand to gain in many ways because New York has plenty to offer. The cityscape of New York that most luxury New York hotels capture is beautiful while the poverty and squalor in the ghettos of New York is shocking and sad. One thing must be said of all the New York hotels, whether they are luxury hotels or boutique hotels or airport hotels or family hotels or cheap hotels – they help you to get a feel of the city and experience the city from different angles and perspectives.
